The NCAA Evaluation Tool (NET) is used to help rank all 360 Division I MBB teams. The NET evaluates each team’s wins and losses to help determine the field of 68 for March Madness. Michigan’s wins and losses can improve/regress daily based on where the NET ranks the teams we have played.

Quadrant 1: Home 1-30, Neutral 1-50, Away 1-75 | (wins here are crucial)

Quadrant 2: Home 31-75, Neutral 51-100, Away 76-135 | (wins here are great)

Quadrant 3: Home 76-160, Neutral 101-200, Away 136-240 | (losses here are not good)

Quadrant 4: Home 161-360, Neutral 201-360, Away 241-360 | (losses here are extremely brutal)
